• your parents have done everything possible, within their means, to bring you up in the best possible way, give you the best possible education, with best possible comforts and now sent you this far to get the higher education of your choice.
• just remember, all this they do is never for their personal benefits or returns, the only expectations they have from children is to see them achieve best education leading to a bright professional career and to be well settled in life.
• it is your greatest obligation and duty to repay back to them all that parents have done to you, not in cash or kind but by just looking after yourself, to follow all the advise they have given.
• in short – be totally focussed on your purpose and responsibilities and come back a proud budding graduate son/ daughter.

10. LASTLY AND MOSTLY IMPORTANTLY, KEEP LINKS WITH RELIGION

• always be remembered that you are fortunate and blessed to be in the position where you are.
• no matter where you are, what your surroundings are, no matter how others enjoy life, remember the fundamentals of religion that god is watching you at all times and knows what goes on in your mind and you are answerable to all your thoughts & actions.
• life around you is full of temptations, attractions & distaractions,
• habituate to offer prayers daily, you know how important this obligation is, it will protect you from all destinations and temptations which are from the evil.
• everyone enjoys life differently, some find enjoyment by drinking liquor, some in drugs, some dating with girls, some in parties, in movies, in shopping, being glued on to tvs or net , wasting time with friends etc.. but there are many who find enjoyment in things like doing gym, in playing games & sports ,in praying, in reading good books, going out with good friends etc..
